New Horizon Care Centers is Hiring a Mental Health Supervisor Near Spokane, WA

New Horizon Care Centers is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Mental Health Supervisor will oversee the mental health services provided within our facility, ensuring high-quality care for our clients. This role involves managing a team of mental health professionals, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with other departments to promote holistic wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of mental health professionals including psychologists, counselors, and social workers.
  • Provide clinical supervision, guidance, and support to staff members, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients, in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Conduct assessments, diagnosis, and evaluations to determine appropriate interventions.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress.
  • Coordinate with other departments such as medical services, rehabilitation, and case management to ensure integrated care.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions.
  • Stay informed about current trends, research, and developments in the field of mental health, and integrate new knowledge into practice.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field.
  • Current licensure as a mental health professional (e.g., Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
  • Proven experience in a supervisory role within a mental health setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to promoting the well-being of clients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with diverse populations, including individuals with co-occurring disorders, trauma histories, and/or substance use disorders.
  • Training or certification in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care).
  • Bilingual proficiency.
